Established in June 2002 by Lois Nelson, we’ve grown from a small gathering of enthusiastic players to a cornerstone of the pool community in Los Angeles.
Our Origins
Lois Nelson, our founder, stepped into the competitive billiards scene in 1999, a journey that began with a single game that kindled a lifelong passion. From playing in various leagues across LA County, she envisioned a league where diversity is celebrated and minority players shine. SCPL is that vision realized, bringing together players from all walks of life to share in the love of the sport.

Notably, our league has been a platform for monumental victories, including a first-place win at the BCA World Championship.
Our Impact
